I mentioned, a few weeks ago, that 'Comic Tales' did ok on it's first run on a/w, despite some ill-fortune in running. It's out again tomorrow - 2.30 Wolverhampton - and will be long odds. It' s looking really well at the stables and, given a half decent run, may well be worth a couple of groats each way. I'm sure you don't have to be told about the imponderables involved in a 5 furlong sprint, most of which is round a bend, but if you feel like a small wager - who knows?

He has seen it, sends his thanks and will get back to you in a few days. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately I don't know, he has sprained the tendons in his right hand ( ) and was in agony doing his one and only post last night. Gets the slacker out of housework too for a few days

Oh well. Close, but not close enough, I'm afraid. Just back from the course. Ran a really strong race, but got hampered about 3 out. Managed to get to the inside and stayed on well, but didn't have enough time left to get into the first 3. Would have been nice at the price. Next time maybe
