Does anyone know how many coaches are going? I'm tempted to go but won't have an idea as to whether I am working or not on Tuesday so if I do decide to go then I would have to leave the decision a until the Monday night. I would guess this type of gesture would elad to asll coach seats being filled very quickly.

An effort on the club's part to reduce the compensation they have to pay to Bury.
The more fans there the bigger the gate revenue for Bury = a lower compensation figure for the club to pay.
This is nothing to do with appeasing those unfortunate enough to make the trip on Boxing Day.

I havent been planning to go to the Bury or Southend games, I was just planning to go to Grimsby to save a bit of money now I've bought my car, but now the club are offering free coach travel I really dont know whether to go or not if I can get time off work at short notice then I suppose I could go....

I'm tempted to get a flight from Sydney now Well done STFC, good effort. People are fast enough to condemn, so let's givethem a pat on the back when due as well.

And who twists who's arm to make them go on a coach then ? dunc, so you think the club should reimburse everyone who brings down their petrol receipts on wednesday morning?

I love the way the club does something positive and the first thing that springs to some people's minds is negativity
- "what about people in cars?"
- "its only to reduce the compensation they have to pay"
The fact the FA or league or whoever took no action against the club is proof enough it wasn't their fault yet some people still want their pund of flesh. GROW UP

If indeed the club are doing this in order to reduce their compensation payment, as I suspect they are, then I applaud them for it. Really it is a win-win situation. For every extra fan we get there, we pay less compensation, each fan has the opportunity of free travel, and STFC get lots of support as we seek another 3 points.
