I've lost the thread- but looked at it last night- Absolutely brilliant!!! I noted the cartoon about M.W.!!!! The thing is though- we've got some talented lads who do some really funny stuff for The Fanzine.Shrews can do that, too!! BUT- Huddersfield have put all their cartoons on the website. It's HILARIOUS- I was laughing out loud all the time I was reading it- but they're not making people pay for it- so it doesn't benefit their club like our Fanzine benefits ours, does it?

If you knew the trouble we had just getting together this week to discuss the next issue. Even then we could only get 4 of us together. Having said that the Huddersfield site is very good, it would be interesting to know what the lad does for a living who puts it all together and what sort of life he leads.

He's been doing it for years and years, still absolute top quality. One of the classics

Forgive me for intruding on the thread but I'm the bloke who runs the site and I made it here through my referal list (I get notification of other sites which link to mine). Glad to see most of you like it Just for the record - I do have a girlfriend, don't live with my parents and do get out of my house now and again I'm a computer engineer by day and do the reports in my spare time because I really enjoy drawing and the work behind them. Plus it's always a bonus to stumble on sites like this who appreciate the reports. That said, it will probably be the last season where I 'regularly' cover games because I want to concentrate on other things. With regards to the site not making money for the club - I was offered a chance to do reports for the official site at one point but I had my doubts about whether or not the club would benefit as much as the (ex)owner (he owned part of the PTV company which run league official sites). Plus, I was wary that they'd want to censor some material. All the best to Shrewsbury for the season - be interesting to see how Wadsworth gets on. He must be a decent coach but God help you if the bloke ever gets put in full charge!

GUILTY... It was me that started the thread, really is a good site though eh? I'm working up in HUddersfield for a year with lots of Terrier's fans, drinking in the local pubs etc. and they all feel sorry for us because of MW. Great bunch of people and it's putting us on the map a bit because they are always asking about the Town, the new meadow, and I might have even convinced a couple to come over for the Bury game next week..

No- I wasn't suggesting you lads SHOULD make a website like that!!! I only said you'd got the talent! You COULD do it, given time ..etc.. In fact- I said that it was much better to put all the jokes and so on, in a Fanzine and people pay for it- which benefits the Club. I think whoever puts that Huddersfield site together can't possibly work for a living!!!!!!
