The Section 106 has been signed for the Gay Meadow and planning permission has been granted. If so full steam ahead for the New Meadow

Great news about section 106 getting signed off at last. I don't agree with the last guy about lego stadium and Deva sh*thole... I think that the town faithful will bring plenty of colour AND atmosphere to it, so what if it's blue & white (dont forget we're voting on a new strip so watch this space!!!) It could be orange with green spots, it's what's inside that counts. Negativity strikes again. Yes the Meadow has lots of fond memories, but also painful ones to. We're are all looking for the start of a new era under GP, so a new ground will be a great launch pad for STFC to get back where we belong not hovering every year at the bloody trap door.

And where exactly do STFC belong? Suppose the answer is very simple? FINISH IN THE BOTTOM 2 THEN THEY BELONG IN THE NATIONWIDE CONFERANCE.

I think it's because without 106 being signed then there is no new meadow, it could just be relief. However, Mr.Sayfritz suggested last night in the Star that no decision has been made when the building work will start at Sutton... Is there a message in there? Perhaps something to do with the sh*tty predicament we find ourselves in AGAIN!!!!

I think it's due to some archeological digging required, which will take a number of weeks.

I think it's due to some archeological digging required, which will take a number of weeks. On the back of that Christianity/religion thread and with arcehlogy being mentioned and it might be massively off topic I was glancing through my dads “focus” magazine – on Science and it had the 10 most un explained things ever in the world (more so than how Luke Rodgers forgot how to play football) Do you know that in some rock that was Millions of years old they found a modern day hammer and there’s not possibility or explanation of how it got there. Not only that the metal its made out of is more pure than any refining techniques that exist today!! Problem is the people who found it are creationist and will not release it for testing!!! And if you think that’s strange the other were just as mad A map of Antarctic from the dark ages which show the continent as it is when there’s no ice, yet the last time it was ice free was again millions of years ago!!! A crystal Skull that is carved in a way that cant be reproduced to day due to the graining of crystal Bloody interesting it was

Now I don't know whether this is news but I heard a couple of interesting (and disturbing) snippits on Saturday.. 1) The stadium builder has gone bust!!! How true this is I don't know, but apparently lads who were working for this company were laid off on Friday... 2) Because of new legislastion for disabled access (A brand new law just come into force).ANY new sports development must be able to accommodate any disabled person in ANY part of the ground. Because of this there is a requirement for 4 lifts to be built at the New Meadow, at an estimated cost of 1.5 Million.. Hence the delay. I think that listening to the discussions the second scenario looks more likely as it came from a source not normally wrong.

It's being delayed as Jennings are very slow in releasing the necessary funds. Something they are known for apparently.
