photo front of ALS 31 - he is practically ripping the armband his arm is that thick. The man is like a human only bigger. People compare him to Tony Adams, but I would compare him to Dave Watson ex Engand, Sunderland, Man City, Werder Breman, Southampton, Stoke City. They both have that Uruk Hai quality about them.

Anyone but redmile, whenever there was a decent striker he'd stick 5 past us. If that form continues, it should be a good trip to scarborogh

Tinno is master class - if there was ever a footballer to look up to it's him.

I can't help but notice the Tony Adams thing. It's when he sticks his arms out to tell his defence to get in line, just like Adams did organising the Arsenal back four.
Hope Ridler is back alongside him on Saturday...

The quality of defensive heading: side on, and beginning from the waist.
Of course most of you are probably too young to remember Dave Watson. Best number 5 I've seen in an England shirt.
Wouldn't it be great if we could organise a fans' meeting with Darren Tinson? Some of the meetings we've had in the past with players have been excellent nights.

The ISC did a fair few of those. The one with Chic Bates was great. Though by far the biggest turn-out we ever had was for the New Meadow meeting with Paul Marsden...

THE Dave Watson was in the Sunderland side that won the FA Cup in 1973, then moved to City with Denis Tuert.
Agree about Tinson, the type of player who revives your respect for pro footballers.

Definitely - and that is another way he compares with Dave Watson.
