An unamed player has been banned for six months after failing his second drugs test.
That unnamed player I can reveal is Billy Turley, a player i considered to be one of the best keepers in this league.

I never liked him as he always used to play well against us, judging by the error their on loan keeper made at Cheltenham I think theyre going to miss him

I heard somewhere tho' that he was pleading guilty.
But was going to argue that he was having personal problems, and that losing his job would make things even worse.
Think he was done for weed, so he'll be looking at rehab. If true, I'd rather see them given rehab then banned for 2 years and told to feck off.

he gets banned for 6 months after testing postive. rio gets banned for 8 months for not turning up to a test. don't forget that he's done it before so maybe rio will get off lightly next time he doesnt turn up

he gets banned for 6 months after testing postive. rio gets banned for 8 months for not turning up to a test. But if Rio was banned for less than players who are done for drugs, then surely any player who knew they were going to test positive could just miss the test and receive a shorter ban.

he gets banned for 6 months after testing postive. rio gets banned for 8 months for not turning up to a test. The way they argue it is that if the punishment for not turning up is less then guilty people will just not turn up. Cocaine is classed as recreational so not as serious an offence I think. The assumption is then that anyone missing a test may be guilty of taking performance enhancing drugs which carry a stiffer penalty. I'm not saying Rio was guilty though mind, just stupid.

turley tested positive for cocaine.....twice. should be banned for life.... Banned for life would be very very harsh. If it were a performance enchancing drug then you would have more of a case but not for coke.

would a player who knew he was guilty, take the test the next day ?
i heard rio didnt turn up for an embarrassing reason nowt to do with drugs ( bad decision yes)
and wether 8 months was right or wrong 6 months for turley is on a par with the spanish racist fines

We should ask for the three points they pinched from us during their smash and grab 1-0 at the meadow to be taken from them and given to us. From what I heard he was all that stood between them and us and us giving them a thrashing. Perhaps his heroics were fuelled by 'illegal substances'. I know it's not possible, but it is a thought.

I never liked him, he always produced great displays when we played then at theirs! and he should be getting far more than rio, F.A jokers no doubt David Dein had plenty of say in Rio's ban
