The ever charming Mr. Evans complained bitterly that Boston were denied a penalty in the second half yesterday:
"We should have had three points not just one. It was a poor decision by the referee and one he would have given at the other end."
Boston were very poor yesterday for a team with promotion ambitions. The fact that Mr. Evans points to one penalty incident rather than a succession of missed scoring opportunities speaks volumes. And for the record if the referee was such a homer, as Stevie boy implies, he would have given us a penalty in the first half rather than a free kick at least two yards behind where the foul took place.

I thought ours was a peno too, when the ref reached for his book i went mad thinking he was going to book our player for diving, the free kick outside the box was a joke IMO.

LOL
Thanks Mr Evans that now makes my prediction that Boston would play hoof ball, would be quite dirty, would play for setpieces and have a manager who whinges about everything that goes against him correct.
Class A joker

Who was the bloke with the clip board doing all the arm waving ?
I was expecting Evans to do that but he generally stood behind the other bloke.

A proven cheat is he not? And another manager with a chip on his shoulder judging by some of the comments this season.
That said he seems to be doing a decent job there. I don't think many would have expected Boston would be in or around the playoff places.

Steve Evans really is a complete and utter joke, Boston never looked like promotion contenders in both of the games they've played against us, games only count for the last 10 mins as far as he is concerned if he thinks his side deserved 3 points from that game!
w****r.
