O/T What sort of people do you most admire?

I tend to admire people who are good at things I'm not very good at, or can't do-

People in the Medical professions. I think they're heroes and heroines.

People like doctors, nurses, midwives- and some of the local authority Care Teams, who seem to be able to keep a cool head in an emergency situation. (I had experience of some when I was looking after my mother.)

People who can do Maths well. I struggle with it. I'm completely one-sided; always did well at all the useless stuff like writing stories and poems!

Footballers!!!!!



I was no good at team games. I could run, climb and ride a pony- but that's all my "sporty" achievements summed up!

I just love watching Football because there are so many skills involved.

(It doesn't stop me having a moan if they really let us down, though!!Well- that's one of the attributes they need- a real will to win, a battling spirit, commitment, pride- it's no good having all the tactical skills going if the attitudes lacking!)

I agree about maths Wiggy. Absolutely hopeless when it comes to trying to work it out mathematically, i'm sure i suffer from some sort of number blindness if such a thing exists.
I'm useless with apostrophe's as well.

I admire people in power and those people who constantly want to improve themselves and are never happy with coming in second place.

I think I admire anybody taking any racist crap of any idiot out there, TBH if I was in their shoes I would smack the idiots

I seem to admire lots of these people JP posts pictures of! There was that Titmuss girl, oh and whats her name? Stevens and that other one, the singer!!
