It's my grand-daughter, Leah- she's just e-mailed me to tell me that she sent a text to Radio Shropshire on the way home, after my son-in-law had picked her up from the station, and they'd "seen me off" on the train.
She was amazed how the lads have changed, since G.P. came- so she sent a very positive message to say so. It was read out, too!
I think she should have given her real name, instead of "Hinstockshrew"- but that's up to her. Possibly didn't want to be teased at school!!
It just shows what a difference it makes when they play with passion and battle like they did.
Even though they didn't score- a 13 year-old girl like Leah is impressed enough to give them some positive feedback- and is really keen to accompany me to matches once again!

Since GP's arrival STFC look like a league side and are playing like a league side who are hungary to acheive more than a league 2 status.

I hope she doesn't take after her Gran, or she'll be sending awful jokes to Radio Shropshire next

Wiggy, stop her listening to Radio Shropshire immediately. It will poison her mind and make her believe that the whole world revolves around W.I . meetings and bus tokens. Best to leave it to the more mature generation.
