Let's face it- the general consensus of opinion was that we'd be lucky to draw.
Relief then?
We were unlucky not to score.
Our squad seemed to be very aware of Boston's type of game.
When it seemed very threatening towards the end- which I was told is typical Boston tactics, to go for the last minute goal- our lads never stopped battling, and denied them every chance.
So- heave a sigh of relief- AND- I've saved £4 on my usual fare by going via St Helens and Manchester Picadilly, instead of Wigan and Crewe. Bit longer- but cheaper- and I wouldn't have tried this way but for the fact that they are doing track repairs at the weekend on the Wigan- Crewe line.
Got a coat for my daughter (in the sales) and Shrewsbury Town pyjamas for the littlest grandson!!!
NOT a bad day.
Just hope they score next Saurday!

Tactically, we are very very aware.
Until Jason Lee came on, they never had a kick up front.
This team of ours would have run Chester very close last year, no doubt about it.

We're entertaining to watch and we're picking up points. That'll do me!
