Howie 8
Moss 7
Tinson 7
Whitehead 8
Ashton 6
Edwards 7
Tolley 5
Sedgemore 7
Aiston 8
Langmead 6
Lowe 5
Lowe for me was not that good today. Shied away from tackles. Not won much in the air and too many passes not reached their target. Plenty of workrate but that not enough on the day for me. Never thought I would say this, but thought we should have seen Granty with 20 mins to go.

Decent performances for all with honourable mentions to the defence who were excellent. I think Ashton is getting better and better by the game and looks a very good acquisition indeed.

Agreed, the defence where very good today. Langmead tried but felt he was on his own up front for much of the game ( not literally ). Felt the midfield did ok, but too slow / too shy coming forward..

I don't think I would have given anyone a 5 today The five was aimed at tolley and Lowe. Jamie hardly seemed to be in the game and was out performed in centre midfield by a rapidly improving Sedge. They even stopped him taking the corners! Think we have covered the comments about Ryan elsewhere, so we will leave it at that. Remember its just an opinion. Also for what its worth. Bad performances would get less than 5. They just didnt shine at all, in my opinion!

not going to give them points ratings, but this is my view on them.
Howie - commanding 1st half, but suspect at judging crosses as the game wore on. Moss- no frills, sound Tinson/Whitehead - solid, resilient. Thought whitehead was the best of the 2. Ashton - impressed with him. the reshuffle after his injury caused us to loose the control of midfield. Sedge - solid if not spectacular - his contribution in the middle was missed when he fitted in at LB. Tolley - not enough contribution. a couple of runs, but poor pass execution Edwards - suffered from all the play going down the left in the first half. Aiston - exciting, strong, petulant poor delivery again. Nowt different from him. Lowe - IMO, bright & lively, but didnt look to link up with Langmead once. Looked for Sam all the time. Langmead - dissappointed overall. The team didnt give him anything 1st half; 2nd half his pass selection & execution was terrible.
I was impressed overall. Could have been a goal or two up at H/T. 2nd half it didnt click for us, but credit to a strong Boston back line. Harsh critism of Lowe IMO, as only he and Aiston provided any threat on Bostons goal. Just need to sort the pass selection and options in the final third of the field, as defensively we look reasonably solid.

In my opinion the weak links today were Kevin and Dave Edwards. Defensively we were good but Ryan had little support up front. Wish Sammy could convert his approach work into good crosses but he does now try to have a go at goal

Harsh on Tolley I think. I've been impressed with him since GP took over, he gets much more involved nowadays.
