Lowe was dreadful today Mr Peters please get rid of Darby ASAP and use the money to get a young promising striker in in the same way that you have brought in Ashton,Langmead Lyng and Clampitt. I'm sorry but Ryan Lowe is not the answer.

Slightly harsh that. And if your going to have a go at players then why not put your name up.
As i have said on another thread he showed plenty of workrate today but he did not have the final ball as much as he should.
Thought we should have had some fresh legs up front towards the end as Ryan looked to have run out of steam.

I've never rated Lowe up front, never clamoured for him to have another chance in the role, and today did nothing to change my mind. Too lightweight, too few ideas.

It certainly wasn't one of Ryan's better games today but he showed enough to suggest he'll get another chance at Darlo next week.

Thinking about the comments that have been made I am struggling to come with the rihgt partner for Kelvin. Lowe and Grant are not good enough and Luke is also struggling to find the net, and afraid to say Darby has had his day.
New striker needed? Some may not agree yet, but mark my words, reckon we will before long.

Think you'll see something like the old Luke return when he comes back, people soon forget what he did tt Yeovil the other day, completely changed the game and I'm not referring to his sending off.

Cant get to away games so have only seen the two home games with grant up front and i think he did well. Lowe is an inigma ( no not a code machine ;D ). Played crap for most of the game, always bottling the 50 50 challenge, poor passes, but then comes up with a superb run, taking out half their team.

No one would love to see the old Luke back more than me.
However, changing games is not what we want.
As GP himself has said, we have now made ourselves difficult to beat. Now for stage two. To score more goals.
Correct me if Im wrong but i always thought that meant being able to put the ball in the net?

The forward running of Edwards, Tolley and Aiston is encouraging and certainly when Luke returns to the side the weight of expectation will be off him, particularly with Langmead next to him. I hope that results in goals.

With Langmead up front you can only play 1 of 4,when all available..........
Darby Grant Lowe or Rodgers
absolutely one horse race IMO the other 3 dont even come close.................

I can see DD getting his chance again especially if you considerer the competition:
Lowe: (negatives) far to lightweight , always bottles the 50 /50 challanges , lack of consistancy , ( Positives ) decent finisher on his day.
Grant: ( negatives) Weak in the air , Not good enough at this level. ( Positives ) Work rate.
Langmead: (negatives ) goals per game ratio. (positives) Young and will learn and get better, hold up play , work rate, wont cost the earth in wages.
Rogers : (negatives) seems to have lost pace, touch and control often lets him down, wages , temperament, (Positives) past record frightens other teams, can score 20+ per season,
DD : (negatives) alledged wages , injury prone , needs the right strike partner. (Positives) good all round game, proven scorer at this level, work rate, commitment, frightens other teams,
Duane Darby goals goals and more goals...!!!

If Duane cant score and impress in the reserves, what chance has he of forcing his way into Sir Gary's plans?
I would stick him on the bench, but I doubt he'll get that chance

No chance Duane will start again unless we have a massive injury crisis. Let Luke serve the rest of the ban, GP have a quiet word with him as to what he expects from him, and watch him go . With Sammy & Dave on the wings, should mean Lukey doesn't have to do so much running out wide and can concentrate and running at goal rather than away from it.
