-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Preston fan here. Just wondered how you lot rated Young Kelvin Langmead and Ciaran Lyng. I was quite dissapointed we let these two go to be honest.
Langmead had just come on against Millwall to make his debut and looked to be forcing his way up the pecking order which he sould of been in my veiw he was better than Simon Lynch,Joe O Neill and Andy Smith. Is he scoring for you?
As for Lyng we thought of competition from Arsenal for this boy when we brought him over from Ireland so i expected big things from him in the future even though hes only about 18 now. He played nearly all the games on our Ibiza tour in Pre-season as we had no left backs. We have also had left back problems this season untill now so i thought he could get his chance even just on the bench but no.
Im sure Gary Peters (LEGEND!) had a major role in getting them two to Shrewsbury and im sure you have got your self two very very good young players for nothing!
Cheers,Carl.

Haven't seen much of Lyng, but Langmead works so hard he is already a huge fan favourite round here.

I think Langmead may go on to achieve cult status amongst Town fans if he continues to put in the effort shown so far, he is never going to be a prolific scorer but he will get his share over a season. As for Lyng, it's early days yet and the boy needs to be given time to settle in and establish himself. First impressions though are favourable.

Kelvin, as others have said, looks likely to become a huge crowd favourite - and rightly so!
The biggest compliment I can pay him is that everything that is played up to him sticks. Be it to his feet, thigh-height, chest-height, or pinged on to his head!! It's incredible to think he's only 19, he's putting much more experienced "professionals" to shame.
He's not prolific, but is ideal as the partner to someone who's going to find the net regularly (hopefully Luke will come good soon!).
Only seen glimpses of Cieran - not enough to form an opinion yet, although he has the background to be a useful player for us before too long.

Would agree with everthing said above, Kelvin is doing a supurb job consistantly week in week out, Lyng is only appearing as a sub but looks a great asset, GP is introducing him slowly.
