I wondered if any of you knew why Streety is on the transfer list?
I can see why Challis is- although he helped us to get to, and win, the Play-off Final.
I can see that Darby isn't on form- although he scored the equaliser at Stoke.
But I thought Streety was a "useful" sort of player?
I trust G.P.'s judgement.
I think he's looking for bigger and younger players?
I also think he's got an instinct for team dynamics and the players who work well together.
I've always thought that, although the most important factors are skill and pace and having the ability to "think on their feet" and read the game, there's also a psychological and personal element to it.
Certain players form an understanding- especially strikers. Players have to "gel" well.

must have something to do with them all being sacked the other week There has to be a reason, though, Pilch! It isn't just because his face doesn't fit, surely? I've just been looking up his stats. Streety seems useful- but maybe useful isn't enough!!!
