Who do you think will be the next Premiership manager to leave his post for ANY reason?
Our office is running a 'Sports Prediction' quiz and I need to make a better fist than my previous attempts (wooden spoon in my fist year, only just missing the relegation zone in the second) so frankly, I need all the help I can get.
So who will be the first manager to go? Do I go for the obvious (Keegan) or will West Brom or Southampton lose patience with their new blood?
Also, who will be the BBC Sports Personality of 2005? And the team of the year? I'm toying with crossing my fingers and going for Freddy Flintoff and the England Cricket team when we regain The Ashes. Any ideas on other possibles?

Keegan has already announced he's going to step down in 18 months, so it might end up like Strachan.
Robson is quite frankly abysmal and the west brom fans have already started chanting for him to go, although that would mean the chairman would look ridiculous.
Souness could also be in trouble as Newcastle look no where near challenging for the uefa cup let alone champions league places.
I'd say there the most likely - unless o'leary has a fall out with ellis over the lack of squad and money to re-inforce it

If Exeter beat utd, and they lose in the Champions league 1/4 final Fergusson may be sectioned under the Mental Health Act

I'd go for Souness, They must have been totally mad appointing him!! I went to the first match Newcastle played after appointing Souness - it was against Blackburn who they beat 3-0. Funniest chant of the day was after the 3rd goal went in. We were say 20 feet or so from the Blackburn fans and they all started singing 'This is wha-at he did to us !' It shut the Geordie fans around me up.......for a couple of seconds anyway

Surprise choice I know - but I reckon that guy at Liverpool may reflect on the fact that the Reds are nowhere near challenging for big league honours and decide to head off to Italy or Spain.
Or things will go totally in the toilet for Southampton and Redknapp will walk.

Another manager not mentioned who is under a lot of pressure at the mo is Chris Coleman at Fulham. He and my boyhood idol (Keegan) would be joint favourites with Souness a close third.

I reckon Slim Shandy could have a point- Rafael Benitez from Liverpool. I used to listen to Radio Merseyside sport when I was driving home from my job in Liverpool. The trouble with every manager since Shankley, is that they are not Shankley!!!! Scousers expect the same as in the glory days- when was it that they won both the League and the F.A. cup? Nothing less willl do. Believe me Liverpool fans are worse moaners than a standful of Wakemaners multiplied by three. I reckon Benitez will walk. That makes two of us to agree on that

Shankly was great Pauline, a legend in his own right. Like Brian Clough, he was one of a kind. But in terms of managerial successes, he pales into insignificance when compared to the great Bob Paisley. It is he who won the majority of trophies in the glory years, and he who everyone else has to measure up to. A very tall order indeed!

I'd go for Souness, They must have been totally mad appointing him!! could well be with keegan already committed to go, but i can see redknapp being the next, feel his wheeling and dealing my be gaining some speed, not sure lowe will have the stomach for it. Chris coleman may be next Robson, and then david oleary he will resign though

McClaren will be the next prem manager to go. Unless he's asked to take over at Man U after Fergie, McLarenis set to stay at Boro for ages.
