Let us not forget that these are still early times in the Peters regime and he still has a small squad most of whom he inherited from JQ and they are not strong for this league. We have had a couple of great wins and today was not a total disaster. GP is getting together a determined team spirit. We must help him in that cause by getting behind the players not get on their backs.
We have been quick to criticise Rodgers today and others have felt the sharp stick from some, John Grant comes to mind.
Can anyone doubt that under GP the boys who pull on a Shrewsbury shirt play with a passion and pride wanting to play as a team and try to win?

We had this debate on here a couple of weeks ago as to whether the crowd getting behind the team helps or not.
The last two home games have seen by far the best vocal support of the season (apart from Swansea maybe?) even when we weren't winning. Let's keep that up, and I have no doubt we will win more than we lose, and get to 50 points quick enough to avoid heart attacks.

Of the ten home games remaining this season 7 are against sides in the bottom half of the table.
20 pts from those will see us to 45pts, so games like next Saturdays are ones where we need to go for all 3 points.
