Quite possibly. If it's not them then surely it would be Forest Green Rovers?

Which shows he was never good enough for league football in the first place, cheerio Trev , thanks for gifting Mansfield there 1st goal and the many other mistakes you consistantly made on the left flank which other teams picked on and realised that was our weak point, It only took GP 3 games to pick it up watching the videos. Also cheers for the outburst you made to the traveling B&A fans at Histon eventually those words will come back to haunt you.

And thank you for scoring the winning penalty that took us back into the league.... Some people have selective memories.

If he had missed do you think the next up might have scored ? or howie saved again ? Bring back JQ as he also got us up. Or are the both out there depth and were not good enough, so we either move on or pat there backs and go back to the conf !

Good luck to him wherever he ends up, cheers for making my journey in May complete, and thanks for beating me in the Q&A quiz!!

Or are the both out there depth and were not good enough, so we either move on or pat there backs and go back to the conf ! I think most on here agree he was a 500 % improvement on his predecessor - I have been led to believe from TUFC fans he would have ran a close 2nd to Stuart Whitehed for player of the season had he not moved to us. What also worries me is we still lack naturally left sided players and there is no cover for Ashton should he be injured. Given that our 'so called best ' fullback spends a third of the season suspended we probably need the luxury of reserve cover in that area anyway. If Peters can 'tranform' players like Sedgemore and Grant I'm sure he can bring TC back to the required standard.

Challis burnt his bridges thus: Telling supporters where to go at Histon Moving back to Bristol and trying to hold the club to ransom over a new contract. Yes he was an almighty improvement over Greg, but this season he's sadly been a let down

Gary Peters will not lightly get rid of a left-footed player a this point. I cannot see Challis going before the end of the season - unless relations deteriorate - which I cannot see happening.
I left foot is a marketable asset in football in this country currently.
Reading between the lines The QuinnReaper told him a pack of lies about is contract being extended in the summer (the one just gone!) and he's taken the hump.
Peters just needs to keep him in the fold and then we'll see how the cards fall at the end of the season.
He's a good professional who can do a job for us in this division and one higher too. What may count against him is he is physically slight. I know Ashton isn't from the land of the giants, but he is a well built lad - and I think that physical presence is something that Peters is looking for.
