Because we frustrate the opposition legally, and they can't handle it , while we keep our heads .

It's part and parcel of having a far more aggressive and competitive attitude. It carries risks, as the more challenges our players fling themselves in to, the more likely it is we will give away fouls and, eventually pick up red cards. But like Dunc said, it is massively frustrating for the opposition and can rile them into losing their heads and picking up red cards themselves.
At least we are finally getting some entertainment as opposed to the mundane boring crap we had become used to...

A case in point being the Rovers player losing it in the corner by the Wakeman and hitting Ashton (?) because he was holding the ball in the corner in the last few minutes. The three rucks on the pitch reminded me of the 1970s ice hockey film "Slap shot". We are seeing something of that sort of step change in the approach on the field. Gamesmanship, foul play, time wasting, keeping the opposition waiting for the second half kick-off (now done all the time by Peters). Here's hoping we are witnessing something as extraordinary as that fictional story.

The match was described as "a bad tempered game".
As I recall it four yellows and one straight red for Rovers and two yellows for Town.
Considering the early first booking set a very harsh standard for the remainder of the match I believe two Town yellows isn't bad.
