When the clueless one was in charge we were at this time of year looking good and hoping for the play off's. Then we went into freefall and look what happened.
Is it just possible that this whole scenario could be reversed?. Could we, from the depth's of disillusionment push on and make the play off's?
A bit fanciful i think....but wouldn't it be lovely.

He did it with Preston Dont forget Hartlepool did the same thing a few years back. I would be very happy with staying up and moving on under his guidance

Steady on Jamo- I think a bit too much of that Wakeman rain must have gone to your head today- next you will be predicting that the Mancs are going to win the Premiership

I'd be very happy if we just kept playing and battling til the end of the season picking up enough points to be definately safe before the end of season run in.

One of my best mates is a Northampton Town fan, and last season they were apparently in a very similar position to the one we are currently in. They ended up making the playoffs. He has tipped us to do the same (he has so far seen us against Northampton, Lincoln and Bournemouth) and to be fair he is very rarely wrong. C'mon Salop

70 - 72 points usually gets a top 7 finish. We would need 45 - 47 points in our remaining 22 games. Never say never but I am more than happy with the 21st we currently find ourselves in.

To echo the Petersmeister lets not get carried away.
After the Mansfield game I'd have settled for maintaining a seven point gap between us and the relegation places - and still would. Safe with two games to go will do me.
