That performance is exactly what we want from a town side. Hardworking, aggressive, determined and positive. I am concerned with how nakered the front 3 looked after 40 minutes. They did not stop closing down all game which is a lot to ask. I wouldn't be surprised to see a change or 2 at half time.
Birmingham started to play early balls into the box near the end of the half which did cause us problems so we need to be awake to that.
If we perform like that for the rest of the season relegation will not be an issue.
Shows possession means nothing, 19% possession and winning 2-1

Now for the big test: The Second Half and the substitutions. Team talk should be much better than the "if onlys" that have been so common this season. Looks like we might be in better shape when Wrexham games come along.

Well done town!! One thing tho, this lot sold Hurst down the river!.....keep going town, leave it all on the pitch! Hurst is a massive pessimist, he did not stop going on about the situation we are in and the quality of the league we are up against. Some people take that as an exciting challenge whilst others are convinced we don't have a chance. Ainsworth flipped that and has come out saying we can win and that's what we are going to do.

Young back on the bench, we might get some value out of him after all. A rival for the No1 spot would keep Savin on his toes.

Absolutely fantastic goal.
Composure from Gillied and great long ball. Great composure from Marquis and then Bloxham winning a ball he had no right to win.
Truely is dreamland

11 minutes? That's like going into the first period of extra time. We'll be having a drinks break and team huddle before stoppage time soon.

Hurst wasn't the messiah second time around, Ainsworth might be. Just how much does that winning feeling mean to the team and all at Shrewsbury Town?

Ainsworth said his team will be crawling of the pitch at the end of the season and he wasn't lying. We have just set the standard for the rest of the season and nothing less than that level of determination is acceptable. Just fantastic.
Every single player was 10/10 bar none.
Off the bottom of league 1 and the belief is back.
What a feeling. COYB!!!!!!

Special mention for the Ref who I thought was one of the inept official we have seen down here in a long time. Gave them anything and ignored repeated clear fouls on Marquis every time he went for a header.
