Must win tonight by more than 2 goals for a chance to win the group I see Kane was moaning publicly about fellow players crying off sick , and now it looks like he is injured too this after him skipping the previous game v greece the media are suggesting that had Tuchel been here most would have been present the thing is, Tuchel is also giving this game a swerve what a mess

Kane was spot on and has never shirked England duty in his life. He’s just not been picked…

This game is at least somewhat showing England's strength in depth. Still think Tuchel should be working with them now, however.

I think England have just found their new long term left back - well played Lewis Hall.
The two poorest players on the pitch Kane and Bowen.
Plenty for Tuchel to work with when he comes in

A much better structured team than the first game against Greece - brave of Carsley not to start Kane but it worked with the pacy starting front three running Greece ragged in the first half. Bellingham and Pickford (when needed) were excellent but Jones MOTM for me. What a debut he had - very solid positionally, brave on the ball and creative with a great finish _ it would be nice to see him partnering Rice long term in the England midfield.

A fine England performance I think . Lots of energy and commitment. Curtis Jones did well as did Ollie Watkin . A lovely flicked goal from Curtis for the third goal . All in all very pleasing especially as Greece are good defensively at home , haven’t conceded for some time ; they have now. England have strength in depth no doubt , good to see some of the “ fringe “ players perform so well.

He’s the sort of player you think is likely to do something different and excites the crowd . As you say he’s a big, strong lad difficult to force off the ball .I hope to see more of him in an England shirt. I wonder how those who “ couldn’t make it this time “ feel watching England play so well. Stones, Foden and Grealish must be hoping their injuries clear up quickly so that they can be considered for the Ireland game😉

Don’t always watch England but we needed to beat the Greeks by 2 clear goals so something to play for and a much better performance. Curtis Jones goal was just sublime. Looking forwards to Sunday.

Jones performance and stats in the game generally were off the charts. He's really growing into a very, very good footballer.
I think Gallagher's time in Spain will be the making of him too.
Madueke is still raw but is such a talent. His biggest problem is Saka playing there.
Great time to be an England fan. Two solid Euros in a row and a conveyer belt of young talent joining some very, very experienced and world class players.
It's coming home.

The reason that there is 'no pride in the shirt' is because this is a worthless competition. How many 'international breaks' do we need to have endlessly disrupting the league programme........just so that the likes of North Macedonia can give Moldova a good thrashing again.
It's a pointless competition invented b FIFA for purely financial reasons. I haven't watched any of the matches so far and don't intend to do so.

What the ones who spent their whole time drinking while on England duty and won absolutely nothing?
We don't need pride like that.

Our best team ever could put a drop away Biggins Tong Maguire Leonard. I met up with them after the Aldershot Cup game after Davy scored the equaliser.

Possibly the worst half of football I have ever seen in my life - Ireland playing the low block a la SC/MT and seem to have no interest in winning this game.

A slightly better second half! Some of the lads who missed this camp may well come to regret it - Gallacher, Jones, Madueke and Hall have all made good cases for being first choice. Bellingham looks almost unplayable in that number 10 role and is now ahead of Foden and Palmer in that position. I think Carsley has done really well as caretaker (apart from his rush of blood to the head in his team selection in the first Greece game)and especially for the way he has trusted the young lads he knew from the under-21s - he has left England in a strong position for Tuchel to take over.
