Few different variations floating about but reports of RW telling fans that they will be happy on Monday (today).
Did anyone actually witness this happen?
Would be very out of character for him but after his press release last week he is clearly rattled by the hate he has been receiving.

Nothing official yet, but Shropshire Star and Radio Shropshire are saying it’s Ainsworth, but talks still going on. Star think discussion about staff, so not done yet

Hopefully he’s saying he won’t work without his own staff. I do think a few of the back room staff have got a bit too comfortable so I’m not adverse to some new blood.

Given some of the other names mentioned I would say Ainsworth would be about as good as we could hope for in our current situation. I would suspect he would not come as cheap as the other candidates (especially if he brings his assistant Dobson with him) so can only surmise that the takeover could be well under way and it has been agreed with the incoming owner. Ainsworth's record in management surely must be good enough for him to merit say a three-year contract to turn the club around and after the instability of recent years it would be nice to see a Salop manager staying for a decent length of time.

I heard someone mention this and when I later relayed it someone corrected me saying he said early next week as opposed to Monday The video on FB clearly mentions Monday - it’s the “hopefully “ that’s a little ambiguous- “ you’ll be happy Monday , hopefully “ or you’ll be happy , hopefully Monday” .🤔 Unless the Wrexham fixture change is the “happy” event 🤔😉 |

Does it really matter if it’s Monday or later in the week .
Is it a new Manager or new owners ?
Whatever we will still be stuck with the same players . Perhaps the good news is that the players have been fooling us all along ,they aren’t totally useless after all and that they have decided to show us the “real” Shrewsbury Town .
Promotion therefore is no longer a dream .
Long Live Roland and Roland Forever must be the chant ringing from the terraces from now on.

I heard someone mention this and when I later relayed it someone corrected me saying he said early next week as opposed to Monday Well that's a lie. Video on Facebook has it as Monday. Hopefully mind. But Monday nevertheless the person who told me is a member on here and not a liar, maybe he spoke to the chairman or heard a separate speech or just misheard it , its not really important anyway, I wasnt present and cant find the video although I'm not doubting it show him stating Monday I would have liked it today, maybe tomorrow we'll get some white smoke |
