an excellent podcast hosted by Kevin Day & Kieran Maguire
wikipedia
Kieran Maguire is a British academic, author, and broadcaster. He specialises in the accountancy of association football and wrote the book The Price of Football. His expertise is frequently sought within English football media.
anyway on their pod each week they cover the latest news in football relating to finances and last week of course the town hit their radar
its only 2 or 3 mins Maguire spends discussing the situation but he kind of makes it clear what's happening in league 1 at the moment
I've prepped it to start at the town feature

I like Kieran Maguires insight usually, but that was incredibly surface level.
Wycherley assumed responsibility for bringing Hurst wheh his sacking was announced, yet maguire said he "may" feel responsible. It feels as if he's done two minutes of research and that's that.
Also, we moved to the new stadium in 2007. We'll have players in the next year or two who were born after that move. When do people stop talking about it as if we moved last season?
We cannot deny how big an event it was, but I do think as though we need to start moving into the phase where that isn't a talking point when discussing recent years.
To my eyes, if we're breaking things down, a fair guide to talking about recent history is from 2015/16, when we returned to League One where we've been since. Or even 12/13, our first season in league one for decades.

We know that , we are town fans , other listeners are just getting a bit of background info as they might not know I think everything else he says is correct , I'm mean none of the 433 that have read the thread have jumped in to object
