RIP John Prescott. This thug isn't fit to lace your boots. Not excusing Amesbury for a moment but it's not quite as straightforward as some think. He'd been subject to a lot of provocation and goading in a nearby pub from earlier in the evening. I know the pub - not the friendliest - and I hear the guy he walloped is a bit of a ........, well, you probably know the type. Doesn't excuse anything and MPs should know better, but there might be some mitigation. |
