We have no money for the transfer window.
We wont have been sold by then. So it's up to RW to kiss more of his money goodbye in an attempt to keep us in L1 so the club value is greater....or he leaves everything as it is and we likely go down to L2 where the club is devalued but at least he didn't throw away his money.
If I was RW...I would be doing the latter. What would you all do?

Transfer window will not save us...we will need 2 points a game probably to stay up by then.

If all of the press about a takeover is to be believed then I don’t feel like Roland will be investing anything in January. The only reason he would is to try and dig Hurst out of the mire and he will then cash any potential miracle in come sale day if we are still in L1. He needs to be very careful though because the current malaise surrounding the club could quite easily see us double dipping down to the Conference and the club value plummet. Currently he is on a knife edge regarding this clubs very future imo.

Should have sold to the Delves when they offered then. I take it you mean the consortium that Paul Delves was involved with and not a single personal investment from the Delves family which probably would not be sufficient just by studying Companies Housr ?

I wonder what would have happened with Delves when a couple of months into the season he had to find £2.1 million to keep us afloat

Does anyone know how our youth players are developing this season ? Is anyone training with the 1st team knocking on the door of making an appearance ? I think it would be great to see another local lad push on.

If I was RW...I would be doing the latter. What would you all do? Agree that this is the conundrum facing RW. Is £100k in January worth £2 million extra on the clubs value by keeping us up (putting it crudely)? I suppose it depends on what the current valuation is, and how much of that is dependent on league one status versus other variables, such as the clubs real estate assets. And there's also whatever state a potential takeover is at. If we're nowhere near selling, then as others have said, there's a risk of a double dip relegation (Carlisle are in the relegation zone in league two at the moment, having gone down from league one last year), and Wycherleys asset value will tank. It'd make business sense to invest to try and keep us up as a result. But if a sale is in the pipeline and the league we're in isn't a deal-breaker/value changer, i can't see him thinking there's value in it.

Think our only hope is having a really good January transfer window. My contacts have already given me a name we should look at. Kieran Wakefield at Alvechurch. There’s good players in non league that’s within our budget. If we are going for talent in the non league then Kai Evans at Nantwich is one hell of a player at that level. Released by our Welsh neighbours but looks to me like they made a big mistake based on what I’ve seen. I back you on this one. Scored 18 goals last season, the goal of the season competition he had 5 nominations out of 10. Lovely little player

Is Moore aware of him 🤔

I've heard that we are signing a Spurs player in January.
Micky Moore has asked: "How much is Udogie in the window?"

The new lad at Wycombe is proving players can make the step up.
But not all will.
Is it luck? Is it judgement?
They've definitely got to be big enough and strong enough for league football. That's often the difference. A tricky player in non League just get muscled out of the game in the league.

I know not a lot usually happens in January but we really must get at least one central defender in fit and ready by jan 1st

I think the financial health of this club is paramount, and if that means we get relegated that is what happens, my hope is that any slide is arrested there...
