Yep apparently he's part of a consortium led by a former attorney who has defended Trump in the recent past. Apparently prepared to pay £15 million😏 ,although Tranmeres net worth is double ours as they have far more assets than us

Spoke to my Rovers supporting brothers over the weekend and they're very sceptical of any Americans getting involved as about 35 years ago an American solicitor named Bruce Osterman bought the club. Twelve months later the club where at the point of closing down and manager Frank Worthington had been made redundant.

Personally I'm sick of these Yanks.The only reason these people are interested is that they love the promotion/relegation and all firmly believe that by investing a few million they can get their club to the Premier League and make multi millions.
They haven't had a sudden "road to Damascus" moment and have realised what a great game world football is, to them it's all about money and you can't get bigger in sport than our Premier League.
No doubt if and when we get sold there will be an American element to it, mores the pity😡

Americans hate promotion & relegation, they dont have any

there a funny story about Blackburns owners the Venkeys,  apparently didnt realise there was such thing as relegation when he bought the premiership club ;-)

Got a feeling that a lot of the Yank owners probably think the same thing. OK I accept that Yanks do seem to have an in-built positivity and go get 'em attitude but boy oh boy some of them are going to be in for one heck of a shock in years to come
