Someone will find a negative......I reckon its great God help the electric 💡 ⚡ bill. Aha - well - it takes as much power as a 60 watt bulb. Lad that invented it is from Shropshire, and clearly a genius, and a great guy to boot.

Think it will seem quite dull when they’re removed. Presume you joking about being too bright?

Shrewsbury Town are delighted to announce a new partnership with George & Co. Investments Ltd – with the firm having installed a giant new scoreboard ahead of tonight’s game against Exeter. George & Co. Investments Ltd has now become the club’s official technology partner. The partnership will completely revamp the digital experience at the Croud Meadow, significantly improving the matchday experience for fans. George & Co. has gifted the club a temporary giant screen that was installed on Tuesday and will be in place at the stadium for the next 12 weeks. The company then plans to gift two new permanent giant screens that will be situated in the northwest and southeast corners of the stadium. These screens – which are currently in construction and planned to be in place for the New Year – will be the largest scoreboards in the EFL. The state-of-the-art screens will be able to show high-definition videos, offering a new and enhanced digital advertising opportunity for potential and existing partners. The screens will also have the ability to play instant replays, allowing for next-level fan engagement. The temporary screen, which is making its debut against Exeter tonight, will not be used by TNS when they host their Europea Conference League matches at the Croud Meadow. George & Co. Investments Ltd, founder and CEO, Ross George said: “Being a lifelong Shrewsbury Town fan, it’s a huge privilege to enter into a partnership with Shrewsbury Town. "George & Co. are proud to be supporting the club with this investment and to be creating a partnership that will enhance the matchday experience for fans." Shrews CEO, Liam Dooley, said: “This is a truly fantastic partnership for Shrewsbury Town and one that will transform our stadium not just today but futureproof it for years to come. “It will allow us to generate a whole new level of fan engagement and digital revenue opportunities. “What Ross and Lydia have done for our football club has left me overwhelmed. The generosity they have shown is nothing short of astounding. “As a club, we are really looking forward to working with George & Co Ltd and I know fans are going to absolutely love seeing these new state-of-the-art scoreboards at the Croud Meadow." Good evening everyone, It’s Ross from George & Co. Thank you for the comments and feedback regarding the scoreboards. With the temporary floodlights being in situ for the TNS games we couldn’t proceed with a permanent LED Scoreboard so have, whilst the floodlights are in place, installed a temporary LED screen. It was delivered on Tuesday and there have, admittedly, been a few teething issues. These will be ironed out and the capability of the new permanent screens will be showcased on the temporary screen at the next home game. We appreciate the feedback and we acknowledge the teething issues we faced yesterday evening. Please bear with us though and the level of fan engagement, matchday experience and digitalisation of the club will be second-to-none. Please do let us know if there’s any features you’d like to see, any questions you have or any comments in general. All feedback is good feedback. You can PM me on here or email me ross.george at georgeandcoinvestments.co.uk And a big thank you to Pilch for allowing us to create this account to allow us introduce ourselves and welcome any feedback. Thank you again. Ross George George & Co.

Hi Ross! Immensely kind of you to be gifting the club such things. I have a few questions for you; How big will these screens be? Apart from replays and adverts will there be anything else displayed on the screens? Could maybe get the golden gamble numbers on there and maybe Birthday shoutouts and death notices? Maybe even do that thing the americans do at baseball games where a camera zooms in at folks in the crowd at halftime, i recon the kids would love to see their faces up on the big screens! What other plans do you have in store for us, this 'digitisation'?
Thanks again, it's actually giving me a reason to attend rather than another poor result 🤣

Yes, there will be next-level fan engagement including voting on the next song, voting on man of the match, social media engagement and many more features. Golden gamble numbers will be displayed as well as announcements including, as you mention, birthdays and deaths. Yes we take that on board and can discuss the idea around the camera zooming. We are looking at pre-match interviews broadcasting live from the pitchside with players, manager etc. also. The sizes of the screens will be revealed in due course but will be the largest in the EFL as well as additional offerings not mentioned in the statement. The digitalisation will begin taking place imminently with new digital screens (showing live sport) throughout the concourses and fan engagement (won’t spoil too much more!) but I’m sure will go down very well with everyone! Thank you for the questions and please do let me know if there’s any more questions or suggestions etc. Ross

I saw some guy mocking this on Facebook , he joked his tv was bigger and the scoreboard would vanish after the tns games , I did laugh after someone pointed him in the direction of what is actually going to happen
That's the trouble at the moment , too many so called fans are too quick to attack the club before even engaging their brain
Reminds me of the match the other night , a goal down and some fans are hurling abuse at Toto, because in the first 1.6 seconds of him receiving the ball he hadn't managed a 60 yard zidane style defence spitting pass to put marquis through on goal
#ficklefans
By the way , thanks so much Ross , top man 👍

Thank you again. Ross George George & Co. This seems like a genuinely great partnership. How much can these be worth in advertising revenue for a club of our size? I’m not expecting it to be loads but as they are not costing the club in the first place (unless some of the advert revenue goes to you), it’s got to help.

You may be aware Shrewsbury Town were once famous for our unique iconic scoreboard lost many years ago though an act of vandalism. Would it be possible to create a digital version to show on the screens with half time results as a nod back to our history. Thanks for all your doing, hope you reap the rewards. url=https://postimg.cc/XGKk6v09] [/url]

Don’t see why it can’t be done. Publish corresponding games in programme or even on the pitch side advertising boards which are almost sure to be on the way………
