A word of warning . I’ve just driven along Huffley Road toward Bomere Heath . What a bloody journey , Great Lakes of water everywhere from water run off from already saturated fields . If this rain keeps on I think the road will be closed . Got to the turning by Leaton? rail crossing not available because the barriers are down . I was told they have been like that for ages . Cars turning around and going toward Bomere Heath . I took the turning left in Bomere toward Montford Bridge . Roads under water but managed to get toward Cutbury Hollow which was another challenge . Up the bank toward Fitz and the Bridge just before the Grafton turn was another horrendous challenge . Got through and then drove through 6-7 puddles😂, another bloody nightmare . Managed to eventually get to Bicton Village . So , all those having to use our country roads be very careful, the roads are becoming almost impossible to navigate as I say because of water running off the fields . Drive carefully .

A lot of flooding around Clive & Wem areas. Closed the GP surgery in Clive because of it.

I've been to Manchester today and then back via Welshpool , driving conditions have been a nightmare, between Whitchurch and Northwich every other road resembled a river, and plenty of other floods about during my trip, even when on the motorway it was like twilight at midday and hardly able to see the vehicle in front
glad to be back home

Over half the monthly average rainfall today apparently, and it's been unusually warm with it.
Nothing normal about this - & no, it's not "them" geoengineering the weather for Shropshire!

Hope it's on. Good time to play them after our winning streak and Exeter suffering from Wet Lag after an 8hour f(l)ight to get here. I think we'll sail to a famous HMS Victory.

Water run off onto rural roads is often caused by the failure to maintain drainage ditches.
Wasn't too good in Ellesmere yesterday either.

A49 at Battlefield shut, partial flooding of the A53 at the same location, the link road past the Enterprise park shut, and really bad at Preston Roundabout... what a lovely journey into work!

The Brooklands was flooded last night and is expected to be closed for several weeks .
Really bad news especially as Xmas is round the corner.

Couldn’t get my daily 6 pints of HPA last night as I couldn’t be arsed to walk the long way to the pub
