Anyone who could offer any help on this one please,
Went round to a friends who has Sky Q to watch the town game, went onto Sky Channel 412 and there was Peterborough vs Rotherham - I thought there would be an options to select the Town Crawley match but nothing.
Long story short, we 'found' a feed online to watch it and cast it to tv with the FM of Radio Shropshire over the top, worked well but just wondering what I or said friend has to do to watch the game through Sky.
Appreciate any help and understand if the thread needs removing - DM open if best.
Thanks in advance.

When you get onto channel 412,press the red button and all the other live games will be available.

When you press the home button, the menu on the left appears, scroll down to sports, then football, select your game

The Saturday 3pm games are never on Sky Sports+ due to the blackout, the only way to watch is on iFollow in another country (or with VPN) or some " dodgy" foreign feed.
Any other game, not on a Saturday at 3pm, like Thursday's game verus Exeter is on Sky Sports+

Suspect the op's sky wasn't connected to the internet which is needed to stream. Hope it works next time 👊

Ahh, thanks - that's likely the source,
I did find a link from elsewhere online but will look into more detail.

Towns game was on sky yesterday , they have an exemption on international breaks to show all games at 3pm , like they did v Wrexham , it's not a rule I like but I did actually take advantage and save 9 hours on the train and instead popped to the pub to see it on sky

As said, it’s rare and linked to international breaks but it’s not never.

Ah well, you live and learn. It won’t be long before the blackout is trashed anyway I think.

Yeah but the difference with that is they have their 3pm kick off times moved, like ours was against Peterborough.

That is generally what they’ve done. Moved certain kick off dates and times so that they can show them live
Hence they are showing Salop v Exeter on Thursday

Most of this thread is way beyond me; I don't have Sky sports+ or whatever it is and rely upon the EFL highlights show, but I couldn't find the programme today was it broadcast?

I'm very much against moving fixtures because of tv.
It could be tempting not to go on Thursday, but given the optimism of yesterday and that I can't get to many I will be there.
Town are the only team to play 12 games by then. Let's make it count.

I watched on my phone yesterday as I was out and about. Not sure existing Sky subscribers can complain about being able to watch 23 games at no extra cost to be honest. Of course there is the separate argument of kicks off being moved around to facilitate this increased number due to the aforementioned 3pm Saturday blackout on non-international weekends.

do you have the link for a MacBook compatible app ? A quick google suggests laptops are not able to view the extra games, but a phone/tablet is better than nothing.

The Saturday 3pm games are never on Sky Sports+ due to the blackout, the only way to watch is on iFollow in another country (or with VPN) or some " dodgy" foreign feed. Any other game, not on a Saturday at 3pm, like Thursday's game verus Exeter is on Sky Sports+ it was on NOW TV on Saturday via sky sports + , watched on my Laptop, same with the Wrexham game

Im surprised how many ‘shares’ you can have, I use my sons on main TV but also another on iPad so can cast on other TVs if I’m not home. Works great. He’s able to use it on three other devices plus another son’s phone?… he’s got multi room so maybe that’s why at least 6 devices!
Preference will alway be to attend the match, it not a great experience similar to iFollow but great when you can’t attend.
