To loose anyone at such a young age is just unfair. RIP.

I started work at SUFC in the Summer. Not a good day at the club as we mark World Mental Health day, for which I`ve helped set up several activities. :-(

RIP George
Shades our own Paul Miller from the early 60s for those old enough to remember.

I presume as a Panathanikos player he would have played at the Meadow for them against TNS later this year. Very sad. RIP.

I remember the death of town keeper Paul Miller in 1963 very well. I think he drowned at an amusement park in the Midlands at age of 23.

Quite a big tribute area with lots of cards and flowers at the Cherry Street end of the ground. Flags at half mast. , lots of very sad fans paying their tributes last night and this morning.

I see panathanikos who visit the meadow soon have done a great thing , after signing George on a 3 year contract of which he only managed 3 games before his sad passing , the Greek side have said they will pay his widow the remainder of his 3 year contract in full and also arrange remembrance games for him
I hope Cardiff city make note of this

I keep seeing it being mentioned by football pages on Twitter but nothing official anywhere, no big media outlet has picked up on it so fear it’s fake news - be amazing gesture if true
