I’ve paid for my green bin to be emptied and am now waiting for my bin sticker so that the bin can be identified by the refuge collection team. Without a sticker they won’t touch it. However, things haven’t worked out as expected . Those who have received their stickers have found that they will not adhere to the bin. Apparently the Councils supplier failed to meet the criteria laid down by the Council. New stickers provided by a new supplier are to be sent out by end of October . Whatever the Council are going to do with the original stickers no one knows . Bit like the Governments PPE fiasco me thinks 😳😂😂 I do wonder whether the Council can reclaim money spent on the original stickers to offset against the cost of providing the new very sticky stickers . It’s no laughing matter really, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a more p**s poor administration than the one we now have. Even the days of Keith Barrow weren’t so bad in comparison. Our Council is in financial straits no doubt , no wonder if this is an example of the diligent approach to contracts and services . I could make my own bloody sticker save for the fact that I was informed that stickers once applied couldn’t be removed 😳 Thats worked out well .
