who knows what the truth is. getting a pay rise were she is on more money than the prime minister was always going to get headlines ,as was the way she was appointed.
I cant help but wonder that as a women in a senior post ,Was she was resented by misogynists in the civil service.?

I suspect it was a politically motivated tissue of lies The Privileges Committee thought the only "tissue of lies" came from Boris: does anyone have any photos of the poor postman forced to work for hours within 2 meters of several others with a constant flow of workmates brushing past you ( get the violins out ;-) ) having had time to reflect on the partygate , I think the line was only crossed when alcohol was involved, I mean I'd hate to be accused of breaking covid laws going back to the scenario at Royal Mail that I mentioned, we all did at work what we had to do, we still celebrated birthdays too, but no one cracked open a bottle of wine or bubbly, mainly as no-one was enjoying it in the slightest and yes we all know starmer basically did the same and got away with it on a technicality, but im of the opinion one got lucky with small print the other fell foul of it, both were taking the p**s, one still is
