Very respectable point although bittersweet after the half time score. Bolton fans will be fuming about their dropped points.
Such a shame that such a solid result doesn’t really help us as far as the league predicament goes, we need to get some wins.

Ah well, if you had offered me a point before the game I would’ve bitten your hand off, but that felt like a loss!

I'd have snapped your hand off for a point before kick off so happy with the result despite throwing away a 2 goal lead.
Really concerned that Hurst did not act when we was getting battered 2nd half. Bolton subs ruined their flow.
Shocked we ended the game with 11 men, the ref was all Bolton and robbed us of a 1-1 opportunity by blowing up for the foul.
3 5 2 suits us well. We are going to have to play Bloxham as a striker in this system. We was crying out for fresh legs up top.
Savin my MOTM.

But a win against the ref, just about. At some point we will get a ref on our side....

Its a good point on the road but I just wish the performance would have matched the first half.
Bolton had two chances to win it at the end, Savin made a great save.

As long as we score more goals than defensive mistakes we should just about be ok

Well done salop...even tho we cocked it up a bit...you proved you can do it,if you try, especially with a change in formation...UTS!

I just really wish we could hold on to our leads though but as others have said I would have taken a point before the game.

I have to say I thought they would win it but all credit to salop for the way we defended. It was 11 players who played their socks off especially against Bolton and the ref.

The Bottom six is being cut adrift - at least Burton also collapse in the second halves, and Cambridge lost, Wrexham did a big favour by beating Northampton.

As long as we score more goals than defensive mistakes we should just about be ok I didn't see any defensive howlers? First goal a lucky deflection put it on a plate for the Bolton player to play an easy through ball. Second goal was some quality link up play down our left and decent low cross.

Just hope Shipley and Nurse didn't get bad knocks as well.
The system of 3-5-2 probably works.

Some great committed defending today. 5 or 6 players charging Bolton players down when they had half a chance to shoot. A bit more of that in recent weeks and we could have been looking at a healthier league position!

A much nicer run of games coming up in the league compared to the nails start we've had.

Very much in a league within a league now, but a decent point. Just pretend that we were 2-0 down and came back to draw...

Just hope Shipley and Nurse didn't get bad knocks as well. The system of 3-5-2 probably works. I think Nurse had cramp. I suspect the "injury" was a bit of time wasting and we had all intention of subbing him off around the hour mark.

Mary Kate asked a very good question to Jamie Tolley, 'If that was earlier in the season, Shrewsbury lose that game'
Need to pick up points on the road, even if its draws against bigger sides.

Savin's a revelation. Still out recovering from injury pre season, now we play him without even having a back up keeper on the bench.

You'd have snapped your hand off for a point before the game but to blow a 2 nil lead, well frustrating is an understatement

well i did not expect anything so relived we got a point, however when you take a two goal lead you hope your team can win the game. Hurst deservers credit for changing the formation but he failed to make adjustments when town were under the cosh and it was only down to due some excellent saves and tenacious defending that it ended as a draw.
we seem to have a pattern of better performances in the first half, then a poor second half, it almost feels like teams have worked out how to beat us or go up a gear, we dont go up a gear or change tactics and we lose or concede goals.
frustrating decison from the ref which prevented a possible goal. we have had three ref on the row who dont seem to give us anything but the opposition everything. we really dont seem to be getting any luck this season.

Ref is giving them decisions they are not even appealing for , corrupt Totally agree Pilch, spot on, referee was a total disgrace today, been a long long time since I’ve seen a shocker like that P.S where’s your post quoting me about Groundhog Day gone?

Thought the Town were excellent first half, and battled like hell second half - pretty proud of that showing and it gives us a glimmer of hope we can stay up this season
