Hasten to add I'm certainly not a MOR/AOR fan, and wouldn't consider Elbow to be that. Garvey's far too good a lyricist and the music's too varied. On the other hand, I can think of a few MOR/AOR classics with guitar solos ...... |

I'm too much of a musical purist/snob (as you wish) to watch a tribute act, although I suppose it's really just a very specialised covers band.
Anyway, I think By Jovi is a great name. If they performed "Livin' On A Prayer" dressed as Bertie Wooster they'd be perfect.
