They have drawn 3 and got battered (By a team we beat comfortably) in the last 4 games. They had a good start but lets not make them into something they are not. We were poor on Saturday and were still arguably worth the 3 points. The two games before that we should have won comfortably on chances created. The 2nd half mentality needs addressing but we are nowhere near as bad as our league position suggests. You can keep going on about how many chances we are making and it's 'just' our finishing that is letting is down but that is pretty fundamental. But besides, we didn't have a single shot (on or off target) after 28 minutes on Saturday, that is not a team that is screaming deserving of 3 points and creating lots of chances It's all about opinions of course, personally I couldn't disagree with you more and think that anyone who thinks 'results will come' or 'we're in a false position' is living in denial. We have won 1 in 8 this season and that stretches back to 1 in 15 if you include last season, we are exactly where we deserve to be As for Stockport, I agree that we shouldn't fear them but with our recent form it's no surprise that I'm not too hopeful of getting a good result. Let's hope I'm wrong Midweek games are always a bit more of a lottery than Saturdays, let's hope our numbers come up this time Fingers crossed

Hurst seems a bit on edge in this interview. Players fault for not following instructions. apparently formations don't matter it’s down to the players to make it work. He then goes on to say the opposition keep changing formation which helps them get back into the game. Fails to see that it is his responsibility to counter any changes by the opposition before it’s too late. Surely if we take young players on loan it is his responsibility to spend time teaching them how to change formation, etc.,. Isn’t that why their clubs have allowed them to come so that they can learn match day tactics?

I think the defence picks itself but the other six places are really up for grabs apart from Castledine. You can make a case for all the others to start which is as it should be. However, our subs are not changing the course of the game as they should. Bloxham is the exception to this, especially against Orient obviously. He scares defenders with his pace and power but there's only ever one player in the box to aim for. The midfield have to offer more support if we are to score goals. I hope O'Reilly is at least on the bench and gets about 30minutes. We are getting better slowly and the tide will turn soon. I'm going for 2:1. I just read in the star that, O'Reilly has had a groin strain and has just returned to training, so he might be a doubtful for this game. I hope he is fully fit very soon he has pace and a few tricks. Whilst he is good on the wing I would like to see him play more on the midfield attacking role. But I guess midfield is an area were we are spoilt for choices.

How are the prawn sandwiches in the Sovereign Suite chaps?
Freebie tickets for this evenings game, and treating a long suffering Salopian friend to the game, but dress code means I cannot covertly wear Wrexham colours in the posh seats.

I'm guessing you will be supporting Town tonight then? Stockport being in the higher places in the division so much closer to Wrexham than we are, and your intense hatred of Port (or is that just another figment of Notos vivid imagination?)

So weirdly I have a town supporting friend, and then a County supporting friend who also lived in Shrewsbury (now an ex-pat) so we have interest in both camps. Given the purported 'rivalry' with County, i will be acting as a neutral and enjoying the total football on display from both sides

You can give us an honest summary of the game tonight then iesty??🤔🤔😃😳 Yes that would be good to hear a neutral opinion. I'm sure there a few Town fans licking their lips to be so downbeat and critical of our performance THREE times this week instead of the usual two 😉

I don’t think he’ll risk playing Winchester. Probably needs a rest. Rossiter would be straight swap. Other than that same team. You think he'll drop our captain after us picking up a point ? you were spot on, my apologies
