Plenty to choose from here. www.historicalkits.co.uk/Shrewsbury_Town/Shrewsbury_Town.htmMy all time favourite was the 77.78 shirt. The photo doesn't do it justice. My worst was the 89/90 shirt. In fact the whole strip was so bland, and it wasn't helped by the shrew badge which I thought made us look timid.

Worst for me was the Italian one , might as well have sold us a tin of paint 😝
Loved the orange one for a change shirt , and I guess the 79 was my favourite home shirt but fed up of us trying to replicate it , do something new

Can you imagine what the reaction would be now if we changed our badge to a shrew and played in white.

The mighty loggerheads badge first appeared on the 1907/08 season, and then disappeared for a time, then reappeared in the 1949/50 season

The 86-87 Wem Ales shirt and the 77-78 and 78-79 are the best. Got a soft spot for the Ajax-style one from 05-07 as well, as something a bit different and because of the association with that brilliant Peters play-off side.
Least favourite would be either of the 2007-10 shirts. With the lack of Amber, ****ing clippy and the ground move, alongside a few largely crap seasons it felt like we'd lost a fair chunk of our identity. Was very worried at the time by the 2010-11 anniversary kit that it was Roland trying to sneak our colours back to Blue and White on the sly, but actually quite like that now viewed as a one-off before our return to B&A the next year where we sealed promotion.

Partial to the 1998/99 home kit; the last of the late, great 'blue shirt/white shorts' efforts.
The 2010/11 anniversary kit did not stand the test of time, sadly, for an anniversary kit – scuppered by poor quality material, 'Clippy', and bland design.

More like Trying to sneak our traditional true identify back in , the club has been running since 1886 , not 1979

Would say that 1999-2001 is the best of the 'modern' blue and amber kits, followed by the 2019/20 'Tuffins' kit of FA Cup renown.
Have a lot of time for this season's home kit, which is in effect a 'greatest hits' version of every blue and amber kit we have had this century.

Worst - that god awful off-the-shelf Umbro yellow and blue. “Sorry we can’t do amber but yellow’s close enough right?’
Favourite - the Joma blue and amber stripes from GT’s promotion season. First season with the stripes back and instant success, with iconic memories of it being worn by such players as Marvin Morgan and Jermaine Grandison.

For me it has to be the scrambled egg shirt as my favourite. My first kit and the one I still see in my mind when I remember my early days and my first Meadow match.

I have a soft spot for the 73 to 77 shirts as that was the time I really got into following the Town. I suppose what I really like is the simplicity of them, more so than the later blue and amber stripes.

In my time supporting the club (since late 80s), I detest the white kits, the plain blue kits late 95 to 99 and the early new ground kits 2007 to 2010
Loved the blue & amber stripes of 99/01, 2011/2013 and 2015/2017.
Ironically, considering my love of stripes, my favourite kit of all time is 77/78

The 70s kits are beautiful. Worst kits - anything between 2007 and 2015, on account of the clip art s**te.

My favourite is the 1965 - 68. Of the modern day kits the anniversary one.

79-80 is an all time classic, and 15-16 runs it close. That was when we went back to stripes and the loggerheads returned. I also really like this season's white, with amber flashes, that's a real quality looking shirt.

For me it has to be the scrambled egg shirt as my favourite. My first kit and the one I still see in my mind when I remember my early days and my first Meadow match. My second favourite. I turned down an offer of £100 for mine. As you know, I'm going on a 3 week all inclusive holiday in Manchester om Monday, ssshrew. For a bit of memorabilia, I'm going to wear my "Bring Back the Loggerheads" t shirt. Weren't they secret? I only knew the fust name of the bloke I bought it of, but they were very well organised. I expect it will confuse them in Manchester, do they have any football teams there? *Going off topic, I have it on very good authority that there is a promising trial starting for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. If anyone knows any suffereres on this horrible illness and have given up hope, get their GP or consultant to refer them for the trial. Remember, there's always something new.

I see that the club vote for next season's kit was won by 'Retro'. Could we see the return of the scrambled egg kit next season?

Do you think someone should tell the webmaster of historicalkits.co.uk that the photograph he has of the 1909-10 STFC team in the 'background' section depicts a team that appear to be wearing *halved* shirts (albeit with quartered sleeves), rather than the *quartered* shirts and quartered sleeves his webpage states were worn in 1909-10? Unless I'm mmistaken?
(my favourite kit is this season's, amazingly)
