As an overseas fan I have become quite reliant on my iFollow subscription as a way of following salop. The last couple of seasons have been great, no real major issues.
This season so far has been a nightmare however. At least half of our games have had no commentary for the first 25 minutes and then the icing on the cake came this past weekend, with no service being available at all until half time.
I have emailed this morning to complain, iFollow support simply brushed over the commentary issues and suggested that this weekend was a platform wide issue. So for those of you who bought a match pass purely for the Wrexham game I'd be getting those refund requests in!

I've received this from them today....
Hi,
Thanks for your email.
I have passed your refund request on to the team, who will review it. Refund requests are dealt with Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (excluding public holidays).
Kind regards,

I've got to say given the response I received to the complaints I can't say I'm too hopeful they'll bother to try and sort the issues. I did copy our media team in incase they have some input but I'm not hopeful of a response there either.
But the more people that complain the better I think. Those of us on twitter have been tweeting the media team for the first 25 minutes of each game to even get commentary working. It's been pathetic so far this season.

I've already decided, irrespective of future improvements, that this is my last year of paying for Shrewsweb/whatever you call it now. I get more news/opinions etc if I agree or not from blue and amber. The so called Sky improvement is anything but,so it's the clubs loss not mine.

I decided not to join this year and I’m really glad I didn’t.

I believe they get 80% of the fee and if others also complain iFollow will surely take more notice than them. Did you go back to them and demand a refund as they failed to provide the service you paid for? Can you get the Sky / Now coverage in Iceland?

I also sent an email on Saturday complaining about the terrible service provided so far this season. They replied pretty quickly requesting further details from me. I await with interest whether the coverage improves against Charlton.

Refund is a little complicated as I pre paid for the full season so I'm sure they'll have none of it with only part of the season being impacted (so far!). Sky and Now are a no go here unfortunately, I'm reliant on iFollow.

I know how you feel and it's really not so much the money , it's the frustration and disappointment at the time the game is taking place and you are missing it that really hurts , a refund or pro rata refund is just the least they can do and it seems you have to jump through hoops to get that and it's only ever going to be the most they will do too if they have to

I didn't complain but I've just received an email apologising for the service on Saturday and they have issued me a refund.

I had no problems whatsoever with Sky's coverage of the game.

Please accept our apologies for the issues with iFollow on Saturday the 7th of September.
Though the issue was rectified for the start of the second half of the match, missing the first half of the match is not acceptable, and as such we have processed a refund for the full value of the match pass you purchased.
You should see the refunded value in your account in the next five working days.
The underlying cause of the issue has been identified and successfully fixed.

Glad that those who bought the one off passes are getting refunded for the major screw up. No such email as a season pass subscriber, wouldn't even have received an apology had I not emailed first to complain... iFollow this season really is a joke.

Similar to you, I have an Annual audio pass but didn't use the service against Wrexham as I watched it on Now. They have emailed to say that they will be in touch to discuss possible compensation and will keep me updated with developments. I agree the service has been gash all season and I hope this is a kick up jacksy that is needed. At the end of the day all we want is commentary from start to end of each match.
