The death toll and numbers of people injured is just staggering.

Bearing in mind the population of Shrewsbury is 76,000 ( Google)
The Israel defence force that a number casualties come from civilians who place themselves around hamas missile sites etc who knows if there is any truth in this claim
The extent of the human suffering is mind boggling and I wish there was an end to this carnage.

Part of me is not surprised as arms sales is a huge market, however considering Argentina sheltered natzis from ww 2,

This slaughter will not stop untill Biden gets a back bone and tells them to stop. However I listened to a radio debate about the US presidential elections and as Detroit and Michigan have the largest concentration of Muslim Americans and one of them is a swing state ,who knows if that will influence things.

It takes a will to end this from both parties with concessions from both parties. So far only Abdul Rahman, Gaza's first polio victim in 25 years, has given them enough of a reason for even a brief pause in the fighting in some designated safe areas.
Both parties must be put under enough pressure to have a reason to stop altogether. America is the one country that could apply enough pressure to the Israeli side.

China and Russia are allies of Iran but how much influence they have who knows. I would guess China as due to the belt and road policy they buy a lot of Iranian oil
