The government have decided to not oppose a green party legal challenge against the development of two north sea oil and gas fields. Whilst we have to move away from gas and oil in the short to medium term that is just not viable for some time. This decision is just potty, we are dependent on gas and oil imports, we all know how vulnerable that is, the expected gas fields would have provided gas for one and half million homes . So at at a stroke Labour continue our dependence on foreign imports at a time when most country's are trying to reduce there dependency.

I've seen this in the Telegraph, have you seen it in a more reliable source?

So we will continue to buy oil and gas from despotic regimes abroad funding illegal wars while ignoring our own resources....utter madness
Any hopes I had for better government after the election are fast evaporating
