Orient won the game last season in the first 30 minutes, the second half was a swansong for the departed squad.
To say it felt very end of season was a huge understatement but this weekend is the chance to hit back against and inferior team.
Play the youngsters that have come on loan, they won't let us down and we need to tap into their energies.
Feeney is a wise head on young shoulders he must play at the back, Perry has improved but I suspect Castledine is streets ahead.
O'Reilly and Marquis are starting to get an understanding.

Having watched Hoole he is to slow and ends up fouling the opposition because of this. League 2 player at best.

Won't be an easy game as although they've lost 3 , they've had a hard start too (Bolton, Brum and Charlton), and they've had two good victories in the league cup.
Difficult to predict the side due to injuries and Hurst seemingly unable to find a settled side. I just pray we don't see a Toto/Pierre partnership in the middle.
It's not a must win in the sense of Hurst's job being under threat but to lose (or not win) would continue a demoralising start and I'm struggling to see where we pick up points in the upcoming games. Fingers crossed for 3 points and it can kick start the season

I hate square pegs in round holes, just as much as I do mental suggestions that involve Tom Bloxham trying his hand at centre back but I’d definitely give consideration (against the ‘weaker’ teams) to Shipley at left back given Benning’s current form, and Nurse’s lack of fitness. If we are worried about him defensively, I’d point to Benning’s current performances in that regard anyway and if he’s given licence to bomb on, like Benning often does, just keep Hoole back with Feeney & Pierre as cover because Hoole is hopeless going forward anyway for most part, and it’s rare as it is. There will be new problems having all of the young lads out there at once but to be honest you can see they all have ability their seniors simply don’t and for me, we need all of the quality we can get on the pitch at one time. If it doesn’t work, so be it. I'm one of the ones suggesting Bloxham more out of desperation , I also hate seeing players playing out of position as much as you do which sums up how frustrated I am with our useless defence.we need to change both center backs or just get used to losing lots of games,

Galbraith took us apart at will late last season and they play the type of attacking flowing football with a bit of pace that could rip this defence apart (again)
Salop 2-2 Orient.

how many times ? , town were dire for 30 minutes but then the better side for an hour udoh scored but missed 2 sitters and wasted at least 3 other half decent chances I'm not sure that's accurate. Going 3-0 behind at home is chastening. possession town 55% orient 45% shots town 14 orient 7 shots on target town 7 orient 4 corners town 9 orient 1 yes, 3-1 at home is always a terrible result in the league, but i do think some remember it wrong

I've seen us come back from 3-0 down at home several times , all those games now give fond memories , I've never considered that we were chastened and only got back because they fell asleep 😉 WBA , charlton , mkd

I'm a little more optimistic today after yesterdays surprise signings , last week away to top of the league huddersfield , our CBs were not a problem , we were getting done done the wings and were offering nothing from the likes of Tom , This week we have nurse back feeney back , and possibly cover for those issues I've just mentioned , we still have the lad from Villa to arrive yet
hopefully today will be full of chances our way , I'm going for 4-1

If as is suspected that Winchester is injured I guess Gillead goes straight in there alongside Perry given Ojo’s unavailable. Though he hasn’t featured in a single Bradford match day squad this season, unsure why, so he’s hardly going to be at peak form and fitness 🤦🏻♂️

Don’t think the new signings are eligible, had to be completed by 12.00 pm

Absolutely dreading today, but atleast the sun is shining and there's good games on the TV either side of our game
Expecting another chastening experience for our mishmash squad of non-league/league 2 players and young premier league loans. Hopefully we can surprise me and i'm wrong

Just to ruin everyone’s day just put money on a Town win at 11/5 - you don’t often get such good odds on a home win against a side sat in 23rd spot in the league!

Shrewsbury have lost the last 6 league meetings against Orient they have never lost 7 in a row to any club in the top 4 leagues. Chance of an unwelcome record today.
