Thanks,Ian,for an objective and fair assessment. Your posts stand out on this forum, as a welcome departure from the juvenile name-calling and personal feuds which seem to dominate of late.
From my perspective, Saturday's performance, whilst ultimately embarrassing given the late capitulation, was encouraging in that we at least had a go against clearly superior opposition.
In recent years, we've too often been set up to contain, in the hope of hanging on to a draw, and have produced mind-numbingly boring performances.
On Saturday, once Feeney departed, our lack of pace was always going to find us out eventually, but we competed for over 80 minutes, and played some decent football at times.
Come on you blues!

Thanks Reg. Thanks for your comments, much appreciated. Wholeheartedly agree with your view. I believe that we will try and play a better style of football this season, but this is a much stronger division, so the challenge of a reasonable finish is so much tougher than the last few seasons.
