Sweden have today announced that they have identified a variant of mpox in their country , the first case to be identified outside of Africa . Will countries in Europe begin to initiate checks on travellers from the African continent ?
It will be interesting to see how this situation develops for a host of reasons 😳

It will be interesting to see how this situation develops for a host of reasons 😳 I'm sure European countries wont do anything of the sort, let's be honest many dont take much notice of who comes into their country, and the UK cant stop the boats coming in with every Tom Dick and Harry from all over the world. It would be a good idea, but it wont ever happen.

I just had a quick look on the NHS website and the UK has had cases, this is potentially very serious especially for children, the elderly or someone with an impaired immune system.
Fortunately it is very rare
