With Bayliss, Bowman, Udoh all moved on, who is going to be our penalty taker this season (if we get any!!)?
I’m guessing Marquis if he starts or perhaps Benning who is always sniffing around free kicks.

It is something that is usually awarded to sides in the higher echelons of the league table, meaning we are classed as insignificant and therefore don’t get any. |

We had 1 last season and bayliss didn't even get near the target , I'm sure bowman missed one too in the pizza cup
I fancy O'Neill will be the best taker but Shipley might shout the loudest for having them , no idea of the new forward(s) but they will be in the running too
We'll probably find out tomorrow 😝

Looks like Marquis has been penalty for some of his clubs in the past, so one would presumes he would be the first pick. Not best record though. In whole career taken 16, but only scored 10.

Let's hope Hurst has been covering this in training having seen how few we got given last season.
Need to make every advantage count for us this season and a penalty is a huge chance to score

Never scored one in his professional career. Most players in the squad haven't. Handful have scored 1 or 2 - Winchester, Kayode, Benning, O'Reilly (for u21s) . So they may fight for being No2 option but I'm sure Marquis will be No1. Got to win one first though! |
