Starts and scores the opener for St Mirren vs Hibs. Looks to be playing further forward than he did for Town, supporting their front two in a 3-5-2 formation

Scottish Prem. Surely not so far away from League One. I recon some would argue it's a step up from League One.

Hopefully he will continue to play well and we get a good offer for him in January.

Great to bump into Liam, Claphamshrew, Mortgagehound and KL7 (no longer posts here) in Paisley today, didn't realise so many of us would be cheering Roland on.
Obviously talk quickly turned to The Iron's chances this season, and then to a lesser extent the Town. What a bloody start to the season though!

A truly appalling player at this level Really harsh. He’s 22. He’s barely had a chance and came into a relegation battle. He started and scored in the SPL today against Hibs who most would agree are our level. If he has a decent season he could make us some money or come back and do a job for us.

I really hope that’s true but to be fair to the original poster, in his small appearances for Salop, Idowu has been below standard by a long, long way. I’m genuinely shocked to see he’s got this in him but good for him and long may it continue.

I was shocked he got the move but they’ve obviously see enough of him before and he seems to have done well during pre season.. He didn’t impress me but I definitely wouldn’t go as far as calling him an appalling player.

Wish him nothing but the best, but putting it politely I don't think he's a Paul Hurst player.

24th June. I said it wouldn't be the last we would hear of Roland. Good prospect imo

Guess that's what the club are hoping to achieve here, loan him out so regular first team football improves him to the level we need.

Scottish Prem. Surely not so far away from League One. I recon some would argue it's a step up from League One. Take rangers and Celtic out and there is no way that league is better than League one. Some clubs would struggle to stay in the EFL

No way of knowing if he is a different player. He was never really given a chance. I noticed he is played wider and further forward there. I'll be keen to see how he gets on this season.
