Good news , I think he will be our top yellow card earner , looks a right battler who gets stuck in , just what we need 👍 Didn't he have a bust up with a Town Player a few seasons ago when Barton was in charge of Bristol Rovers and got a 3 match ban as a result? Certainly looks like if he can stay fit and play 30 plus games should be an asset to the team with good experience. Do just wonder if we have a few too many in that category and hope we can get a bit of luck with injuries this season rather than to have to constantly chop and change the side He clouted Bayliss in an off the ball incident. The ref missed it and Cotterill was furious. Disciplinary bods reviewed it afterwards and he earned a three match ban which didn’t help Barton’s mood! |

Don't endorse physical violence anywhere but that's interesting that he clouted Bayliss, I certainly felt like doing it last season.

Sounds like Town had beaten Stockport to his signature He was on trial up there last week I think ?? It was 3 weeks ago and he came off injured in his first game, no idea if he played again. Lewis Cox reported that they offered him a contract Also he went off injured for Stockport for a 'cut to his face', so doesn't sound like anything to be worried about fitness wise. Apparently also was on trial at Chesterfield before that too |
