Sounds like a great signing. We just need some luck on the injury front this season. We seem to be specialising in signing players who have had previous bad luck with injuries!

Authoritative mid field presence, seemed he’s been chosen over Jon Nolan?

It’s looking like a handy little squad now, though it does seem like the defence has been downgraded, and I still question where the goals are going to come from.

Very happy with this signing. He looked real quality against Derby.

Bloody Moore signing impressive players. What a waste of a wage he is.

Good news , I think he will be our top yellow card earner , looks a right battler who gets stuck in , just what we need 👍

Bloody Moore signing impressive players. What a waste of a wage he is. He’s not exactly an obscure signing. He’s been playing in our division for Fleetwood and Bristol Rovers for the last four seasons.

Also will wait before passing judgement on him being an impressive signing. He’s got decent pedigree but injury record’s against him - he won’t be able to influence many games from the physio room.
A midfield three of Rossiter, Winchester and O’Reilly certainly gives cause for cautious optimism though.

To be able to bring in quality, we need to take a bit of a risk on those who are maybe coming back from injury. Otherwise they would probably be snapped up elsewhere.

Bloody Moore signing impressive players. What a waste of a wage he is. Not so sure he did from SS “Rossiter has been training with Paul Hurst's Town since Friday after the head coach contacted the former Liverpool youngster at the start of last week and the duo met for talks last Wednesday.”

Good news , I think he will be our top yellow card earner , looks a right battler who gets stuck in , just what we need 👍 Didn't he have a bust up with a Town Player a few seasons ago when Barton was in charge of Bristol Rovers and got a 3 match ban as a result? Certainly looks like if he can stay fit and play 30 plus games should be an asset to the team with good experience. Do just wonder if we have a few too many in that category and hope we can get a bit of luck with injuries this season rather than to have to constantly chop and change the side

Do just wonder if we have a few too many in that category and hope we can get a bit of luck with injuries this season rather than to have to constantly chop and change the side That's my slight concern at this stage, I'm more than happy taking a punt on a couple of players with injury problems, but feels like with Rossiter, Savin, Kayode and Nurse we're going with slightly too many risks. Still, there's nothing to say that they'll all be injured and they've all got merits if we can keep them fit so will reserve judgement for now. Does make it look like Price has thrown his toys out of the pram, given it doesn't look like we've had any reservations about giving chances to players who are a gamble. Can't see any reason it couldn't have been Price rather than Rossiter if he'd wanted it to be.

One year contract. Perhaps hoping to get his career back on track then find a more lucrative contract at a higher level?

Bit of a risk for us to give him 2 yrs,and he probably knows that himself....if he plays well and gets 30 games in..... we'll then give him 2/3 yrs....if he likes the club

Probably yes - if he has a good season he will be back at a top league 1 club where he deserves to be when fit. I bet we’ve got an option of a further year in the contract though so we can sell if he does well

Authoritative mid field presence, seemed he’s been chosen over Jon Nolan? [b I think we might see both. Rossiter playing 70minutes or so and Nolan coming on as sub to protect him. I can see this happening with more players than usual.
