Hi There seems to be a huge number of makes in offer, so I was wondering if anyone had one they would recommend before you buy or try and get one, check that you haven't already got one , whether from sky or another provider a lot of us have them kicking about without realising

BT discs are actually good bits of kit - if you don't have BT I'd go for something like a TP Link AC1900. I wouldn't bother with the whole mesh systems like the Deco P9 - expensive and still too flaky.

Hi There seems to be a huge number of makes in offer, so I was wondering if anyone had one they would recommend Have you spoken to your current provider, BT provided me with them EE seem to have taken over BT broadband as I was with BT who provided them free, but they BT range extenders don't work with EE. Iv had nothing but problems with EE and there customer service is very poor. If iv understood them properly they won't to charge me so much a month for them, so I thought I would get my own

Can't help you sorry, know nowt about range extenders other than my BT ones (which I am sure will be changed to EE when contract is due). Good luck

Hi Thanks everyone for your suggestions and advice I echo belfastshrew's post. Have used TP-Link extenders around our house for several years now (I think we have 6, including the one by the router) and they've been excellent. We had many dead spots around the house before, now we have none and I can even watch iPlayer/SkyGo etc in the garden.

The plug-in types are very good if your devices are located a long way from the prime hub, however it is worth asking your internet provider to provide you with the latest and most powerful hub....they change all the time.

Thanks for that when EE upgraded the broadband I had fiber up to the house and there new hub.
