The last member of the Four Tops died today. They were without doubt the sound of my youth. The Soul of harmony groups will never be the same

Indeed. My youth is fast disappearing and I don’t like it.
Groups like the four tops were such trail blazers.

What a talented man. I still watch and listen to The Four Tops on the 60s music channel.
Just because he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will live on with his great voice.
RIP, Abdul, you've given many of us so much pleasure listening to you.

Four Tops heyday was just before my interest in music started, but they were still getting hits as I was growing up.
Really enjoyed catching up with their stuff in the 70s and of course their classic 60s stuff will live on in memories for many years to come.

One of the great things about DAB radio nowadays (as well as streaming/online) is the diversity of music channels now available. We have absolute radio 60s, 70s and 80s on the preset in the car, it's great that the music of my youth is still widely played and enjoyed by new generations of listeners.
