Oh, that's sad, RIP. In my first job I had occasion to visit his place in Loggerheads, it hadn't really registered who he was from the records. A nice chap, showed me his snooker room and said his wife was better at snooker than he was lol.

One of the Old Brigade in times when we could name a dozen players who were entertainers and had loads of personality making the game very watchable. Find it boring nowadays with no real household names. RIP.

He came to Condover a few time and brought Dennis Taylor with him once. Brilliant entertainer. RIP Ray.
