When Joe retired a few months back he revealed that he was going to do some punditry work during the Euros and he would be focusing on the goalkeepers perspective.
Personally I thought that it was an interesting angle to pursue. However I saw him make a couple of appearances in the early days of the competition and then he just quietly disappeared from our screens.
Does anyone know if that was the plan all along or did TV decide he wasn't up to it?

I don't think he was very good , then again lineker was awful at the beginning , maybe he just wants to party a bit , I think I would

As the tournament goes on and there’s less games to cover, they seemed to mainly use the same faces. It felt like I was listening to Rio Ferdinand’s banal s**te every time I turned the television on.

He is 1000 times better than Karen Carney. Yep that's the BBC and equality. Annoyed me that the Beeb also had an ex player,who had played in England,of whichever country we where playing. On Sunday they had Juan Mata, why?. Can't imagine that any Spanish broadcaster had an Englishman in their studio. |
